Betty Jane Sempkowski

Betty Jane Sempkowski,80, of Rayland, OH, passed away, Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born on February 17, 1943, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Charles and Margaret (Talerico) Yeager.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Sempkowski and her sister, Loretta Hunker.

Betty is survived by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth Sempkowski Sr; two sons, Chuck (Kiki) Sempkowski and Kenneth (Janet) Sempkowski Jr; two daughters, Connie (Frank) McNeil and Vickie (John) Williamson; two brothers, Frank (Gaylene) Yeager and Buck (Mary) Yeager; four sisters, Linda Kuhn, Rose (Lucky) Starcher; Jerri Roshak and Carol (Chuck) Sudvary; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Betty and celebrate her life on Wednesday, August 9th from 4-7 at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH and on Thursday from 11 am until the time of service of 12 noon.

Burial will follow at Upland Cemetery.
