Albert Gaudio, 92, of Yorkville, OH, passed away, Monday October 13, 2025, with his family by his side.
Albert was born on October 24, 1932, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Antonio and Lena Gaudio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Louis, James and Joseph Gaudio; his sister, Shirley Gaudio and Mother In-Law, Theresa Caputo.
Albert served in the US Navy. He was employed at Yorkville Schools for many years. He was a member of the former St. Lucy’s Church, Lincoln Italian Club, VFW and Yorkville Fire Department, where he served as president for many years. Above all, he was devoted to his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Sara; his son, Randy (Judy) Gaudio; his daughter, Toni (Tim) Pellicciotti; four grandchildren, Justin (Janelle) Gaudio, Josh (Emilee) Gaudio, Jonathan (Rachael) Gaudio and Jenna (Matt) Edwards and 11 great-grandchildren, Anthony, Leo, Natalie, Vincent, Michael, Luca, Nina, George, Evelyn, Lynlee and Emmett.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Albert and celebrate his life on Friday, October 17th, from 11am until the time of service of 1 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Father William Cross officiating.
Burial will follow at Upland Cemetery, Yorkville, OH.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Albert’s caregivers, Virginia and Louann, the staff at Valley Hospice and Shadyside Care Center for their compassionate care for Albert.
