Ruth Harris

Ruth Harris, 83, of Rayland, OH, died, Sunday, November 24, 2019, at Carriage Inn of Steubenville.
She was born on June 2, 1936, in Woodsfield OH, to the late Harold and Beatrice Eileen (Coss) Matthews Sr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Matthews Jr. and a sister, Erin Sue Lantz.
Ruth was retired from East Ohio Regional Hospital where she started her career as a nurse and ultimately became a Respiratory Therapist. When she wasn’t working, she loved spending time with her family and working in her garden.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 41 years, Richard Harris; four daughters, Cathy (Alan) Core, Kimberly (Timothy) Conaway, Lorie (Kevin) Sochor and Jamey Harris; four brothers, Jim, Leslie, Donald and Richard; three sisters, Lois, Sharon and Illa Rae; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Ruth and celebrate her life on Wednesday, November 27 th from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.
Funeral services will be held on Friday 11 am, at the funeral Home, with Reverend Marvin Schooler officiating.
Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, OH.
