Joseph Hutkai, 98, of Tiltonsville, OH, died, Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at East Ohio Regional Hospital, in Martins Ferry, OH.

Joe was born on March 4, 1919, in Tiltonsville, OH, to the late Andy and Elizabeth (Kopasz) Hutkai.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two cousins, Margaret Reinagle and Mary County.

Joe was a life long resident of Tiltonsville, OH, “Born and Raised”; served in the United States Army; was a member of the American Legion, Yorkville, OH and a member of the disabled Veterans-117.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Margaret (Pasztor) Hutkai; a cousin, Rosalie Zaleski and a niece, Julia (Joseph) Kopral.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Joe and celebrate his life on Friday, January 19th from 1- 4 and on Saturday from 1 pm until the time of service of 2 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Reverend Tom Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow at Upland Cemetery.
