AUSTIN NESTOR
Austin Ward Nestor,  87, of Yorkville, Ohio, departed this earth on December 29, 2017, surrounded by his loving family at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. 
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Josephine (Piazza) Nestor; and his four children: Joanna (Richard) Snyder of Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania; Guy (Carol) Nestor of Rayland, Ohio; Rosalinda (Jeff) Camp of Greenville, North Carolina; and Lisa (John) Romeo of Morgantown, West Virginia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren: Shane and Jenna Snyder; Guy (Christina) Nestor II, Gregory (Amy) Nestor, Adrienne (Jonathan) Ward; Taylor and Rod Camp; and Murphy and Paige Crisp; and three great-grandchildren. 
Austin was born on September 19, 1930, in St. George, Tucker County, West Virginia. He was the last surviving son of the late Guy O. and Belva (Murphy) Nestor.
His three brothers, Guy Douglas, Edsel, and Donzel preceded him in death. 
Austin is a Korean War veteran and received the Purple Heart for his service in the United States Army. He retired from Blaw Knox Foundry, Wheeling, WV in 1992 and spent the last several years of his retirement enjoying fishing, woodworking, and keeping his daughtersá cars running, as he was one of the best mechanics around (an expertise he bestowed upon his son).
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Austin and celebrate his life from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, January 2 at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home, with Pastor Jim Monogioudis officiating.
